Feature Film “Dark Border” in Jumprava

On 18 November at 5:00 p.m., at the Jumprava Parish Cultural Centre, director Andrejs Ēķis’s new feature film, the spy thriller “DARK BORDER.” Set in 1938, the film tells the story of journalist Baltais, who is sent on a secret mission to a border zone to prevent a Russian reconnaissance pilot from potentially being transported to Russia with information that threatens Latvia’s national security. During the mission, Baltais uncovers further plans of the secret Soviet spy network and discovers true friendship, trust and betrayal. Free admission.
