One Sun, One Earth. Raxtu Raxti

The musical ensemble “Raxtu Raxti” presents its “One Sun, One Earth” tour. This autumn, with a new concert programme and album, the ensemble will delight audiences throughout Latvia. The first part of the concert will feature music from the new album, created by the musicians of Raxtu Raxti, bringing together Latvian folk and world music, as well as entirely new original compositions. As usual, the group’s sound will be shaped by a wide range of instruments and resonant voices, equally at home in solo songs and rich harmonies. The second part will feature music that has been performed at Raxtu Raxti concerts since the group’s beginnings, including songs especially close to the musicians’ hearts that have been heard at concerts in Latvia and beyond. Singing together with the audience will strengthen and honour Latvian identity, looking ahead to a free Latvia.
