BET BET: 35th Anniversary Concert with Songs by Raimonds Pauls

As this year in Latvia is dedicated to Maestro Raimonds Pauls, “bet bet” have also built their anniversary concert programme around his songs. The band’s creative catalogue includes four albums featuring compositions by Raimonds Pauls: “Nepārmet man”, “Leģenda par Zaļo Jumpravu”, “Pērļu zvejnieks” and “Vasara nebeigsies nekad”. The band’s performance of “Mēmā dziesma” has also been one of the most frequently played songs on Latvian radio for many years. Last year, it was the most frequently played song on Latvia’s most popular radio station, “Latvijas Radio 2”, and it is also regularly played on “Radio Skonto”, “Star FM” and “Radio SWH”. The concert programme will include the already-mentioned “Mēmā dziesma”, as well as “Nepārmet man”, “Nepalikt vienai tumsā (Lūgums)”, and newer hits — “Vasara nebeigsies nekad”, “Mazs cinītis”, “Dziesmiņa par dzīvi” and “Dziesmiņa par košanu”. Special guests will also join the band on stage at several concerts. This will be a double anniversary — Raimonds Pauls turns 90, and “bet bet” turns 35. Come and celebrate with us!
