Quiz Night “Smart and from Mārupe”

Join the quiz series “Smart and from Mārupe”! All participants can test their knowledge, compete in a friendly atmosphere and enjoy an exciting team game. The aim of the games is to promote quiz games and involve residents of Mārupe Municipality and the surrounding area in shared activities. Four rounds are planned for this autumn and winter: 30 September, 28 October, 25 November and 16 December. The quiz games start at 18:30 at Mārupe Primary School (in Tīraine, at 7 Viskalnu Street). Anyone interested can take part by forming a team of four. The maximum number of teams in each round is 10, so we encourage you to register early. Team applications must be submitted by 12:00 on the Tuesday of the week of the respective game, by completing the team application form and emailing it to rolands.rullis@mnss.marupe.lv. Participation is free of charge. Each game will consist of 10 rounds, with a break after the fifth round. Each round will have six questions. Teams will receive one point for each correct answer, and 0.5 points may be awarded for a partially correct answer. Phones, tablets, smartwatches and other devices may not be used during the game. If teams finish with the same score, the winner will be decided by a tiebreaker question. The three top-performing teams in each game will receive medals. Put together a team, sharpen your minds and see you at the game!
