A Passionate Comedy with Psychological Tension: TANGO DEJO 2 (DIVI)

Have you ever felt a relationship suddenly become tangled in an impossible knot? A workplace noir with a flirtatious aftertaste: that is the predicament facing Ziks and his assistant Vendija, the characters in this play based on Australian playwright Ron Elisha’s *Unsolicited Male*. After two years of successful cooperation, a single evening outside the office walls upends their perfectly ordered working routine, and a sharp, modern tango of relationships begins. As Ziks wrestles with his guilt and tries to save the situation, Vendija tries to work out whether her boss is a trustworthy partner or just another man with hidden motives. But they are not alone in this tangled dance of emotions. Their best friends—or their own “inner voices”—come to their aid, and their “brilliant” advice only makes things more complicated. Each has a different interpretation of what is and isn’t acceptable in an office romance. Since everything that matters most—illusions, misunderstandings and power games—takes place in the characters’ minds, provocateur director Dž. Dž. Džilindžers has boldly stripped away everything unnecessary in this production. This is a performance you don’t simply watch—you experience. There are no sets on stage. No props. No boundaries! Just pure, electrifying acting and a space that fully engages your imagination. The actors have physically nothing, yet at the same time they have everything. Every movement and every glance creates a world that exists for just one evening, and only in your mind. The audience becomes a co-creator, seeing and feeling far more than is actually on stage.
