Social Entrepreneurship Day

Can entrepreneurship do more than generate profit and also help solve issues that matter to society? How can you shape your business idea so that it brings about positive change? We invite young people, student companies, entrepreneurs, associations, representatives of institutions and other interested people to take part in the Social Entrepreneurship Day event “Idea. Impact. Change.” to learn about social entrepreneurship, hear real-life stories and develop their ideas in a practical workshop.

Programme:
- An introduction to social entrepreneurship with representatives of the Latvian Social Entrepreneurship Association
- The story of a social enterprise’s experience
- The story of a student company’s experience
- A practical workshop, “How can my student company bring about positive change in society?”, where participants will explore and develop ideas for combining entrepreneurship with the pursuit of goals that matter to society

The ideas generated will not remain just in the workshop. They will be used to create an information booklet for schools about social entrepreneurship and the importance of social goals, encouraging young people to consider these goals as they develop their student companies.
