Civil Protection Training

You are invited to take part in civil protection training as part of the “Community Resilience” project. It will take place on 13 November, from 14:00 to 19:30, at Neretas apvienības pārvalde, Rīgas iela 1.

The “Community Resilience” project aims to strengthen the resilience and preparedness of rural communities for various crises, while fostering mutual assistance and social cohesion. During the training, we will discuss how to prepare for crisis situations, what you need to know and arrange in advance, how to protect yourself and your family in a crisis, and what to do if familiar infrastructure or services are temporarily unavailable.

Lecture topics will also include mental health recovery, psychological resilience, maintaining inner stability, caring for your own psychological well-being and that of others, and regaining strength after emotionally difficult situations. The project will also include practical training in first aid, cybersecurity, survival and other areas.

Everyone interested is welcome! Community activists, representatives of residents’ councils and NGOs, local leaders, and anyone wishing to prepare better for different crisis situations and strengthen their community’s resilience are especially welcome.

The “Community Resilience” project (No. 26-00-C0LA19.333-000010) is being implemented by the association “Aizkraukles rajona partnerība” from June 2026 to March 2028, in cooperation with Vidusdaugavas NVO centrs and partners from Finland, Lithuania and Estonia.
