Book Club at Jyväskylä Main Library

The theme of the Main Library’s Tuesday book club in autumn 2026 is nature. Book club programme:

Tue 15 Sep, 5:30 pm — Iida Turpeinen: *Elolliset*
Tue 13 Oct, 5:30 pm — Richard Powers: *Hämmästys*
Tue 10 Nov, 5:30 pm — Jenni Räinä: *Suo muistaa*
Tue 8 Dec, 5:30 pm — Marlen Haushofer: *Seinä*

At the book club, we chat informally about the book we have read together and the thoughts it has inspired. The meetings are open to everyone, and you can join even if you have not read the book. You can attend one or more meetings. The book club meets in the Main Library’s multipurpose room (3rd floor). Welcome!

You can reserve book club books through the online library at keski.finna.fi. If there are no copies of a book on the shelves in Jyväskylä, but copies are available at other Keski Libraries, remember to select the regional reservation option.
