Reading Dog Athena at Huhtasuo Library

Reading to a reading dog offers positive experiences for children learning to read. The reading dog does not judge, and you may pet it if you wish. You can read to the dog even if you have difficulties learning to read. You can choose the book yourself; the reading session lasts about 15 minutes. Book a time in advance by email, phone, or in person at the library. The reading sessions are organised together with Suomen Karva-Kaverit ry.
