Kysy siskoilta — the musical at Jyväskylä City Theatre

At the heart of the performance are true stories—the creators’ own and the experiences of other “sisters”—which sharply, humorously and movingly reveal the shared emotional landscapes of womanhood. The musical gives voice to experiences that have been silenced and reminds us: you are not alone. A Facebook post about menopause that inspired the work sparked a flood of comments, which grew into a full-length performance about the courage to share and the power of peer support.

The performance is directed by former Jyväskylä City Theatre director Reino Bragge (guest).
