Talven varalle, Tiina Lempäinen-Tzraska

Tiina Lempiäinen is a visual artist from Jyväskylä. Her works make visible the confusion and bewilderment of the pace of life, but also meaning and hope. Traces on canvas remember. In the exhibition's paintings, fact and fiction intertwine. They depict everyday "dramas" that test or strengthen us both as individuals and as communities. In the manner of magical realism, the situations could be true, but are not, however. The image has the opportunity to continue from where words fall silent.
