Ecstatic Dance – Freedom Through Movement

Come experience the liberating power of movement in an Ecstatic Dance session! This dance gathering offers the chance to express yourself freely through your body, without choreography or pressure to perform. You can surrender to movement and the flow of music, taking a journey where movement arises intuitively, just as it feels right in your body. Dancing offers a chance to step away from routines, striving and the voice of reason, and to explore bodily sensations without words. We begin the session with an opening circle, creating a connection with the space and preparing you to surrender to the dance. After that, you can immerse yourself in dancing to a diverse range of music. Movement is completely free and your own! Finally, we wind down and become still in relaxation, allowing the energy brought by the dance to settle. Ecstatic Dance is an alcohol- and drug-free event that respects safe-space principles and is suitable for everyone, regardless of dance experience. Welcome to surrender to the flow of movement, feel liberated and enjoy the moment! Our instructor Iida Hokkanen will guide you into the dance. Two sessions will be held during the autumn season:
