How is AI changing day-to-day financial management—and what does it require of a company? This workshop is intended for people responsible for financial administration and managing directors. It is delivered in collaboration with Qaicu (Finanerd Oy).

What will we cover? We will begin with key AI concepts from the perspective of financial management. We will then look at how the focus of management is shifting from producing reports to interpreting them—and what this frees people up to do. Through a practical demonstration, the workshop will show what generative AI can already do in the context of financial administration: answer complex financial and contractual questions in natural language, interpret key figures and profitability to support decision-making, and identify anomalies.

We will also address the risks of uncontrolled use of consumer tools directly: data protection, incorrect answers, and lack of traceability. We will also discuss how a company can build its own secure solution to manage these risks. The workshop concludes with a practical roadmap. Participants will identify the 2–3 biggest time or quality problems in financial administration at their own company.

For whom: People responsible for financial administration and managing directors.
Trainer: Jukka Lehtoranta, CCO, Qaicu (Finanerd Oy) – Brillian’s partner.

AI and Data-Driven Management to Strengthen Business Growth – workshop series

In autumn 2026, the City of Jämsä is organising a series of four workshops for SMEs on applying AI and data-driven management to support business. Each workshop will be tailored to the industries and maturity levels of the participating companies, with a particular emphasis on practical examples. These include, for example, using generative AI for reporting and documentation, optimising material flows, and machine-vision-based quality control. The workshop examples will focus on the themes of industrial transformation and the circular economy, but the training is suitable for every company, regardless of industry.

Upcoming workshop: Group coaching with remote participation | Thu 26 Nov, 13:00–15:00, MS Teams
