Löytty Brothers’ Concert

Some of the songs are new and original compositions. The concert programme is titled Songs of Longing. The songs explore themes from around the world, especially Africa, as well as the brothers’ own childhood memories. Community and solidarity are strong themes. The brothers have released a new album, Etelätuuli, which came out in summer 2026. All the songs are new and written by the brothers. The album’s arrangements are fuller than the concert versions, and it was recorded by Tapio Ylinen. Their “cousin” Jarkka Rissanen also plays on the album. The cover was designed by Matilda Löytty. In 2017, Velj. Löytty released their previous album, Mandoliini, palmut ja pohjoinen viima. Each brother also has a widely known solo catalogue. Free admission! The concert lasts about one hour.
