Kaseva

Kaseva is a legendary Finnish pop-rock band known for its sensitive music and vocal harmonies. The band’s many hits (Mari, Vanha mies, Tyhjää, Striptease tanssija, Pena, Kun maailma elää, etc.) have been part of our national memory since 1974. Kaseva’s first active period lasted from 1974 to 1986, and in the early 2000s the band re-formed to perform in concert halls and clubs around Finland. After a brief quiet spell in the new decade, Kaseva returned to performing live in late 2015. More recently, with the authorization of original lead singer Mikko Jokela, Matti Mikkonen—the son of Popeda’s original guitarist Arwo Mikkonen—has joined the band in his place. Kaseva’s classic songs are still alive, and the band’s dignified sensitivity and charisma have only grown over the years! Its audience now spans three generations. Kaseva is: Matti Mikkonen, vocals and guitar; Jouko Järvinen, bass and vocals; Nils Jokela, drums; Tommi Kekoni, guitar and vocals; Anna Pesonen, keyboards. www.tullikamari.fi
