Sara

Finnish alternative metal pioneers Sara will release their 11th album in January and, to mark the occasion, set off on an extensive club tour across Finland. The new album, due out on 22 January 2027, is titled Ì heiminum, which is Icelandic for “In the World”. The album’s first single, Harhailija, is now available on streaming services. The tour comes to Tullikamari’s Pakkahuone on Saturday, 30 January. Tickets go on sale at Tiketti on Monday, 7 September at 9:00.

Founded in Kaskinen in 1995, Sara has followed a uniquely distinctive path in Finland’s music scene. The band is known for its visually striking live shows, addictive riffs, and the unique, sensitive vocals of singer-guitarist Joa Korhonen. Sara’s previous album, Hallava, cemented the band’s return to the top of Finnish alternative metal. The album went straight to the top of Finland’s physical album chart and was named Album of the Year 2025 by critics at both Soundi and Inferno. Featuring songs including Anhedonia and Valtameri ovella, the album also earned the band an Emma Award nomination in the Metal of the Year category.

The album release tour was the band’s most successful to date, featuring several sold-out rock clubs and major festivals, and culminating in the band’s 30th-anniversary celebration at a sold-out Tavara-asema in Tampere in November 2025.
