Block of Flats

Block of Flats is a Finnish modern metal band known for its massive choruses, heavy riffs and explosive live performances. Their music combines the heaviness of modern metal with melodic pop choruses, electronic elements and dynamic arrangements. From Finland’s largest rock festivals to clubs across Europe, the band has built a reputation especially as a powerful live act. After releasing their debut album, No Hope For The Hopeless, in 2023, Block of Flats took a significant step in its international career in late 2025, joining The Rasmus and The Funeral Portrait on an extensive European tour. Block of Flats is on the artist rosters of Ranka Kustannus and Backbone Management, alongside internationally successful Finnish bands such as The Rasmus, Blind Channel and VV. The band is currently finishing its second studio album, which marks the beginning of a new era in Block of Flats’ career. In early 2027, Block of Flats will return to Europe and the UK as a special guest on Blind Channel’s Painstream Tour. With new music and a major new European tour, the band is moving into the most ambitious phase of its career to date.
