Jukka Nousiainen & Sini Suvanto

Key figures in Tampere’s independent rock scene, Jukka Nousiainen and Sini Suvanto are releasing a new album, with its release party taking place at Tullikamari’s Klubi on 9 January! After more than ten years of working together, they will release their first album made entirely as a duo. This time, the two songwriters’ voices come together in a new way in the conception and execution of the songs. Nousiainen and Suvanto turn their hands to a wide range of instruments, with no limits placed on experimentation. The album is a hypnotically flowing journey that ventures deep into the woods and searches for a place of one’s own in a world that is growing ever more absurd. At the show, Jukka Nousiainen and Sini Suvanto perform as a “two-person quartet”: Jukka Nousiainen sings and moves between guitar, keyboards and various effects. Sini Suvanto plays the kick drum, bass and sings.
