Sami & Jorma: Keikarit — First Farewell Tour

A year ago, Keikarit filled venues across Finland on their tour. Since then, as hosts of UMK, the country’s most popular music programme, they have won over 2.5 million Finns. Now Keikarit are returning to the stage with a new show: on their first farewell tour, they’ll put on an unprecedentedly joyous celebration combining gossip and buzz, stories and chatter. On stage, Keikarit view the world and each other through their distinctive glasses, with their characteristically light-hearted yet deeply moving style. The little moments conjured up by these two men grow into a grand-scale show that sweeps the Golden Spectators along into a wonderful evening of singing, laughing, dancing and, a couple of times, revealing a little too much.

The premiere of the Keikarit show took place in March 2025 at Helsinki’s Savoy Theatre, which sold out within a day.

Sami Sykkö is a journalist, Professor of Practice at LUT University, an economist, a style expert and a traveller. Jorma Uotinen is a professor, choreographer, singer, judge on the television programme Dancing with the Stars, and a great man.
