Jokrates – “Where Would You Like to Be?” Album Tour

Jokrates sets off on the “Where Would You Like to Be?” album tour this autumn. Known for his candid songwriting and strong live performances, Jokrates has quickly become one of the most intriguing names in the new generation of Finnish rap. The artist has released his eagerly awaited debut album, *Who Would You Like to Be?*, and will tour with it this autumn.

*Who Would You Like to Be?* explores the search for identity in a world where people are constantly expected to change, succeed and look better on the outside. The album addresses insecurity, comparison, pressure around appearance and success, and the fear that one’s own voice will be lost in the surrounding noise or overshadowed by others. This honest and personal work also expresses the need to be seen for who you are. On the album, Jokrates shares his own fears and feelings of inadequacy, and reflects on how the fast pace of modern life, stress and societal pressures affect the search for one’s place. The album’s journey moves from self-discovery towards acceptance and the realisation that home, staying grounded and living as oneself can be more meaningful than constantly striving to be something else.

Jokrates has been releasing music since 2018 and is regarded as one of Finland’s best rap lyricists. Demonstrating his talent, the wordsmith Jokrates won the Finnish rap championship in 2019. In late 2025, Jokrates won the Finnish Rap Newcomer of the Year award, and in February 2026 he won the public vote in the YleX Breakthrough competition, demonstrating the strength and dedication of his fanbase.
