Tommy Söderlund will talk about his book *Strandfolk och fiskelägen på Gotland* (Coastal Communities and Fishing Villages on Gotland).
Our old fishing villages have become tourist attractions, but they are also a cultural heritage we must protect. Photographer Tommy Söderlund and reporter Carin Häglund interviewed older people who could tell them about life in the coastal parishes. Both Carin and Tommy were particularly well suited to the task: she grew up in När and he in Näs.
Tommy Söderlund is a photojournalist based on Gotland, working as a news photographer, author and keen observer of people. He will talk about this, focusing on his work on the book *Strandfolk och fiskelägen på Gotland*.
The book will be available for purchase.
Other books by Tommy Söderlund:
*Intill/intimacy*
*Utan ett du - inget jag*
*Botan - allas gröna rum*
*Visby Domkyrka - där himmel och jord möts*
*Gäst hos raukarna - silhuetter vid Slites strand*
