Silent Reading Circle at Fårösunds Library

Welcome to a moment of quiet and reading pleasure. The Silent Reading Circle is an open gathering for anyone who wants to share a room with other readers, without the pressure to perform or discuss.

We begin at 16:30 with a gentle start. There will be time for a little conversation, coffee and cake, and the opportunity to borrow a book if you haven’t brought one of your own. Around 17:00, we’ll begin the shared reading time, which continues until 17:45.

After the reading, there is room to talk about what you’ve read if you wish, but this is entirely optional. Simply enjoying the quiet is just as worthwhile. You’re also very welcome to arrive directly for the reading at 17:00.

The evening’s schedule:
16:30–17:00: Arrival, coffee, refreshments and the opportunity to borrow a book.
17:00–17:45: Shared silent reading.
17:45–18:00: Optional conversation about what you’ve read.
