A concert shaped by meditative prayer and Romantic drama. As a quiet finale, Fauré’s consoling and beloved Requiem rings out—a work that envelops the listener in warmth, light, and heartfelt peace. Lili Boulanger called her work “Old Buddhist Prayer,” an early 20th-century work inspired by Buddhist textual traditions.
