With playful richness of sound, unexpected turns and impressionistic touches, composer Britta Byström creates an imaginative musical journey. The music is imbued with a spirit of discovery in the vein of Jules Verne. Byström’s major orchestral work, Voyages extraordinaires, premiered in 2023 with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and is now also being performed on tour in Stockholm.
