The Yellow Brick Road

“The Yellow Brick Road” is a production that has been running for more than 30 years. Its story began with another well-known Keistuolių teatras production, “The Wizard of the Emerald City.” After spending 11 years on stage, the production was revived five years later in entirely new colors, with a completely different cast and a different title, but with unforgettable little songs and undeniable truths, because, as more than one Keistuolis repeats: “The most important thing is to see the magic in ordinary things!”

The story began when a little girl named Dorothy had grown tired of everything: her home, her books, and even her toys. Then a huge storm, raised by the wicked witch Gingema, swept her from her native Kansas to a distant, mysterious, unfamiliar land. But the magic book says: “The little girl carried to the Land of Wonders by a hurricane will be brought home by the Great Wizard of the Emerald City if she fulfills the deepest wishes of three creatures.” The winding Yellow Brick Road, full of all kinds of surprises and dangers, led to the Emerald City…
