Ridout interprets Bacewicz on tour

A fairy-tale atmosphere, soloist music and a Swedish orchestral work are on the programme. Maurice Ravel’s suite Ma Mère l’Oye opens the evening, followed by Grażyna Bacewicz’s viola concerto, with British violist Timothy Ridout as soloist. After the interval, Mats Larsson Gothe’s Second Symphony can be heard. The conductor is Lidiya Yankovskaya.
