The Last Bremen Musicians: 20 Years Later

In 2002, a story was born at Keistuolių Theatre that eventually crossed beyond the stage and made its way to the cinema. “The Last Bremen Musicians” became an integral part of Keistuolių Theatre’s history, and generations of audiences discovered its characters and works. But what happens after twenty years? When former rebels of the stage have gained life experience, dreams meet everyday reality, and rock ’n’ roll is joined by new concerns? “The Last Bremen Musicians: 20 Years Later” is a theatrical live concert in which the story of familiar characters continues. This time, the stage offers more than memories of what once was. It is an opportunity to meet the heroes again and find out how their lives have unfolded, what unexpected turns they have encountered, and what else they can tell us about themselves. Music, theatre, humour and nostalgia come together, and a familiar story takes on new colours. For some, this reunion will be a return to their youth; for others, a chance to discover live the characters they have heard about from their parents or friends. “Show What You Can Do,” “If You Can—Give Love!,” “Mountain Eagle,” “There Is No Love,” “Doctors,” “Suzana,” “Knock Knock Knock,” “California Sauces,” “Our Days Are Like a Celebration,” “Polarized Glasses,” and many other superhits are sure to keep you from sitting still throughout the concert!

Returning to the stage are Dalius Skamarakas (Olegas Rainys), Aurimas Meliešius (Vidas Kanopa), Aidas Giniotis (Reksas), Ilona Balsytė (Larisa), Darius Auželis (band manager Leonas Pravalas) and Sigitas Mickis (DJ).
