Why is it easy for one person to concentrate amid a hubbub, while the same sounds can be difficult for another to bear? Why does something that seems simple to one person require a great deal of effort from someone else? Not all differences between people are visible at first glance. Yet they can have a significant impact on how we feel, communicate, learn, and take part in community life.
Druskininkai Municipality and „Pokyčių ambasada“ invite you to meet Barbora Suisse, founder of the organisation „Draugiški autizmui“ and the autistic adults’ community „Mes spektre“. At the meeting, we will talk about neurodiversity, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and other forms of neurodivergence. We will discuss common myths, explore people’s different experiences, and look for ways to create an environment where everyone can feel accepted and understood.
