November Weekends at the “Jacques Lipchitz. Sculptures-Pilgrims” Exhibition

Spend the November weekends at the Jacques Lipchitz Museum! This is your last chance to visit the exhibition “Jacques Lipchitz. Sculptures-Pilgrims” from the Valencian Institute of Modern Art. The sculptures, exhibited in Lithuania for the first time, will return to Valencia on November 22. On Saturdays in November, we invite you to educational workshops, and on Sundays, to guided tours. November 7 and 14, 12:00: “Create like Jacques Lipchitz: A Plaster Sculpture” workshop with museum educator Ale Kalediene. Plaster-casting workshop with an integrated tour of the exhibition “Jacques Lipchitz. Sculptures-Pilgrims.” The workshop responds to the four plaster sculptures on display in the exhibition. Duration: 1 hour.

November 8 and 15, 12:00: Tour of the exhibition “Jacques Lipchitz. Sculptures-Pilgrims” with museum educator Roma Žiogeliene. During the tour, you will learn about Jacques Lipchitz’s life, the development of his work, and his connection to his birthplace, Druskininkai. The exhibition “Jacques Lipchitz. Sculptures-Pilgrims” will also be presented. Duration: up to 1 hour.
