PRELUDE 12/12: Opening of the CITUS Druskininkai Culture and Congress Palace

Druskininkai is turning a new page in its cultural history: on December 12, the CITUS Druskininkai Culture and Congress Palace opens its doors. For music. Theatre. Cinema. Conferences. Lithuania. The world.

The historic beginning will be marked by the spectacular opening event PRELIUDAS 12/12. Different musical genres, the brightest stars of the Lithuanian stage and three spaces will unexpectedly come together in a single sound.

A prelude is a moment before something unfolds. A wait that will soon become a beginning. This evening, the new venue will seem to discover its own sound: welcoming the first light, musical harmonies emerging from silence, and the first movements on stage. The three halls will become one musical and audiovisual whole, bringing together the grandeur of symphonic music, the power of opera voices, jazz improvisation and the sonic universe of experimental electronic music. This is a unified artistic story about a new beginning.

Come, listen and experience the sound of the new palace.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In the first part, a unified artistic programme will take place in all three halls. One ticket entitles you to watch live the performances taking place in the hall you have selected; performances in the other halls will be relayed live by video and audio broadcast.

In the second part, each hall will host a different artistic programme. The ticket is valid only for the selected hall and its programme—you will not be able to move between halls. Before purchasing, choose which programme you want to experience live.
