Maggie Reilly’s legendary voice will ring out in Palanga

On November 13, audiences in Lithuania will welcome the distinctive voice of Maggie Reilly live at Palangos koncertų salė. The Scottish-born singer, whose voice has become an inseparable part of world music history, is coming to Lithuania with a special programme full of nostalgia, emotion and timeless songs.

For many listeners, the name Maggie Reilly is first associated with her legendary collaboration with composer and producer Mike Oldfield. Her voice features on worldwide hits such as “Moonlight Shadow,” “To France,” “Foreign Affair” and other songs that are still played regularly on radio stations around the world. These songs not only topped the charts but also became musical symbols for entire generations.

“Emotion has always been the most important thing to me. Songs should touch people, bring back memories and create a connection,” says Maggie Reilly. “I’m delighted to finally be coming to Lithuania. I’ve heard that audiences here are very warm and sincere—I can’t wait to experience that in person.”

Maggie Reilly began her musical career when she was young, but international recognition came after she began collaborating with Mike Oldfield in the 1970s. This creative partnership produced some of the most memorable songs of that era, and Maggie’s voice became recognisable around the world.
