Concert Series “From Christmas to New Year”. A Symphony Salute to the New Year

The Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and its artistic director, Modestas Pitrėnas, traditionally present audiences with a memorable musical celebration before the New Year, sending off the old year with lively symphonic miniatures and the most lyrical arias from operas and operettas. The evening’s guests, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre soloists soprano Kseniya Bakhritdinova-Kravchuk and tenor Karolis Kašiuba, will further enhance the festive atmosphere of the concert with their impressive voices. A talented and promising soloist of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine, K. BAKHRITDINOVA-KRAVCHUK has successfully performed roles at opera houses in Ukraine, Europe and Asia, and given concerts in venues in Austria, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway and Finland. The singer currently continues her professional career in Lithuania, preparing concert programmes and representing her country by presenting the works of Ukrainian composers. Tenor K. KAŠIUBA is known for his expressive, clear voice. In 2022, he was named “Opera Hope of the Year” at LNOBT. K. Kašiuba performs regularly in Lithuania and abroad, has created numerous roles on the theatre stage, and has appeared with Lithuania’s leading ensembles.
