This concert is an invitation into a world of emotion, passion and subtle elegance, where some of Ástor Piazzolla’s most beautiful works will be performed. It is music in which tango rhythms, the depth of classical music and the freedom of improvisation come together—music that touches the heartstrings. On stage are the soloists Ieva Pranskutė-Brajković and Mislav Brajković, who have joined forces as XYLOS DUO and have been making music together for more than a decade, creating a distinctive musical experience. Partners on stage and in life, known on social media as @ieva__music and @kingsstring, inspire thousands of listeners around the world with their music. Their performances are filled with authenticity, sensitivity and a special connection that leaves no one unmoved. Joining the duo is one of Lithuania’s most prominent accordionists, Augustinas Rakauskas, whose musicianship and subtle interpretation bring even more color to the ensemble. His sensitivity and ability to listen and complement the ensemble’s sound make a special contribution to the concert programme and enrich each work with new emotions.
