Pure Reflections

“Pure Reflections” is a contemporary presentation of well-known classical works. Although most of the interpretations evoke jazz, they also feature elements of pop, folk, New Age, Latin and other musical styles, along with extensive improvisation that gives the concert programme its distinctive charm. The musical project “Pure Reflections” (“Tyri atspindžiai”) was founded in 2019. It brought together jazz singer Rūta Švipaitė, saxophonist Janas Maksimovičius, double bassist Armanas Isojanas and pianist Vitalijus Neugasimovas. Each brings extensive concert experience and leaves a unique mark on this shared musical canvas. The programme includes popular arias and songs from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, as well as instrumental improvisations based on classical themes. The audience will also have the opportunity to hear several original compositions.
