Festive Meta Piano Trio Concert

The Meta Piano Trio invites you to a festive concert featuring a programme full of joy, lightness and familiar musical motifs. The sounds of different eras and styles intertwine, taking listeners through bright, lyrical melodies and lively, rhythmically pulsing passages that invite them to immerse themselves in a festive mood reminiscent of the end of the year. The evening’s highlight will be percussion, adding a new dimension to the traditional piano trio sound. Tomas Kulikauskas will subtly expand the sonic landscape, bringing gentle energy, shades of colour and unexpected acoustic flashes that further enhance the programme’s warmth and vitality. The Meta Piano Trio has been performing together since 2018 and has already become a laureate of several international competitions. The ensemble’s members—Marija Pranskutė (violin), Deividas Dumčius (cello) and Julija Bagdonavičiūtė (piano)—are well known to audiences at Lithuania’s major concert halls. Contemporary music holds an important place in the Meta Trio’s repertoire; they have prepared and performed premieres of numerous works by Lithuanian composers. This concert is an invitation to pause, listen and immerse yourself in an experience filled with warmth and inner uplift.
