Christmas Music from the Screen – Movie Heroes Live!

This year, Christmas arrives with music familiar from your favorite films! Join actress and soloist Neringa Nekrašiūtė and the Kaunas Wind Orchestra „Ąžuolynas“ (principal conductor Giedrius Vaznys) on a musical journey where sounds from the silver screen intertwine with live music, images and festive cheer. The program features beautiful pieces from „Frozen“ („Ledo šalis“), „Home Alone“ („Vienas namuose“), „How the Grinch Stole Christmas“ („Grinčas“), „The Polar Express“ („Šiaurės ekspresas“), „Rudolfas Raudonanosis“ („Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer“) and many other animated and Christmas films. The soundtracks will be performed live, while excerpts from the films themselves are shown on screen. Christmas is approaching—and with it, a whole host of familiar movie heroes will arrive at Kauno valstybinė filharmonija! Cheerful, mysterious and a little mischievous, they will bring to life beloved melodies from Disney and Christmas films, performed live by the orchestra and actress. This is a show for the whole family, full of light, adventure and movie magic. Bring the children and experience the wonder of music and movie magic live!
