The programme will include pieces from the 2025 albums “Neskaityti laiškai” by P. Vyšniauskas and T. Kutavičius, and “Music For An Imaginary Ballet” by A. Gotesmanas.

P. VYŠNIAUSKAS is a recipient of the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts and one of Lithuania’s most prominent jazz and improvisational music performers. The saxophonist has performed in more than 70 countries, collaborated with world-class musicians, recorded dozens of albums and contributed to the development of a professional saxophone school in Lithuania.

T. KUTAVIČIUS is a pianist and composer who brings the worlds of improvisational and classical music together in his own distinctive way. As a jazz pianist, he has performed at international festivals in Lithuania and abroad, including in Willisau and Lucerne (Switzerland), Detroit (USA) and at “Sons d’Hiver” (France). As a composer, he has written symphonic and chamber works for the “Gaida” festival, as well as music for theatre.

One of Lithuania’s most creative and prolific jazz artists, A. GOTESMANAS is an alchemist of sound. He is active not only as a percussionist and composer, but also as a poet, director, educator, associate professor at LMTA and producer. He creates and records music for theatre and performs it in productions; writes scripts for musical performances and installations; develops projects with dancers, writers, actors and visual artists; and creates original stage works.
