Concert “WHITE & BLACK. Millennium Hits” (live show)

After receiving outstanding audience acclaim, the spectacular music and light show “WHITE & BLACK. The Magic of Piano” presents a new programme — “Millennium Hits”! This is music everyone knows: legendary 21st-century songs, brought to life in a completely new way. The programme features the biggest hits by world stars: Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Robbie Williams, Sting, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Bryan Adams, Sam Smith, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, and others. But you have never heard them like this. Songs that have become pop classics will take on an enchanting sound: arrangements for piano, cello and percussion will create a fresh, emotional sound. Unique interpretations will unfold on stage, bringing classical and contemporary music together. Precisely designed lighting will heighten the impression.

On stage are performers beloved by audiences: Vytautas Lukočius, renowned pianist, conductor and educator. Vytautas is well known to the public not only as a charismatic participant in various television projects, but also as the leader of “Vilniaus sinfonietta” and the VDU Chamber Orchestra, and as a conductor with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra. Kornelija Kupšytė is a young, talented musician and soloist of the younger generation whose promise is recognised by both music lovers and professionals. She has won prizes at international competitions. Vaidas Kasparavičius is a drummer who has already showcased his talent in numerous projects. You can see him performing with the well-known rock band “Rebelheart” as well as with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra.

“WHITE & BLACK pleasantly surprised me — it is much more than simply interpreting well-known rock or pop hits on different instruments. World-famous songs take on an unexpected, fresh sound. And, of course, you can’t miss the musicians’ passion and energy — by the end of the concerts, they are literally drenched in sweat,” says presenter Ramūnas Zilnys, praising the event.

“WHITE & BLACK. Millennium Hits” is more than a concert. It is an experience that brings back memories and creates new ones!
