Premiere: The Clinic (Comedy)

What would happen if one day you could no longer lie? Filipas Morisas has a big problem: whatever he thinks, he says straight to people’s faces. No censorship. No filter.

“Hello, my name is Filipas. For some strange reason, I tell everyone everything I think. Many people dream of having that chance to let it all out at least once in a while—except me, whose life has become far too complicated. Even buying bread has become a major challenge.”

Looking for help, Filipas ends up at a private CLINIC, where a whole team of doctors awaits him. A psychotherapist, a neurologist, a plastic surgeon, a chiropractor, a paediatrician, an acupuncture specialist… Surely at least one of them should know how to put the brakes back on.

His uncontrollable candour begins to work like a match near a powder keg. One by one, unspoken secrets, lies, infidelity, jealousy, money and things everyone would rather have kept behind closed doors come to the surface. The longer the consultation goes on, the less clear it becomes who in the room really needs help most.

THE CLINIC is a madcap comedy about what happens when one person says aloud what everyone else is thinking in silence. It will be blunt. It will be uncomfortable. And it will be very funny.
