During the cold season, young theatre-goers are invited to the theatre to see the dance production—the ballet “The Snow Queen,” based on a fairy tale by H. C. Andersen, creator of some of the most beautiful stories. The production features the wonderful music of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, full of northern colours, from his Peer Gynt suites. The performers are artists of the Kaunas State Musical Theatre Ballet Company and students from the Dance Department of the Kaunas M. Petrauskas School of Performing Arts.
