Sacred Music Hour | Magnificat

Asta Krikščiūnaitė (soprano), Renata Marcinkutė-Lesieur (organ). MUSIC FOR HEAVEN AND HUMANITY. A series of sacred music hours dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Diocese of Panevėžys. In 2026, marking the centenary of the Diocese of Panevėžys, Panevėžys Musical Theatre is presenting a year-long series of sacred music hours. It will comprise ten concerts, from Lenten reflections to the light of Christmas. The series not only honours the diocese’s history and tradition of spirituality, but also presents Lithuanian and international performers who cultivate the art of sacred music. The event is free. The project is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and Panevėžys City Municipality. The project is organised by Panevėžys Musical Theatre and the Curia of the Diocese of Panevėžys.
