I’m Giving My Wife Away is a comedy about love, friendship and a cunning plan. Lukas (Justinas Jankevičius), a master of evasion, comes up with a “creative” idea to avoid marrying his fiancée, Rūta (Sandra Daukšaitė-Petrulėnė). Lukas asks his friend Adomas (Valentinas Krulikovskis) to seduce his future wife. He believes this plan will help him escape the relationship unscathed. But the men’s clever plan may end in fiasco when the woman on the other side is intelligent. Incredible adventures surrounded by nature, hidden feelings and complete relationship chaos: will this love triangle free the characters of their own accord, or draw them into an even deeper hole? As events unfold against a backdrop of absurd situations and unexpected twists, the play becomes a wild journey through relationships, human ego and attempts to avoid—or perhaps rediscover—love.
