SOLD OUT! CODA Dance School: Interactive Dance Performance “Elf Factory”

Every year, December turns homes into a stage for waiting for a miracle—but did you know that at the most unexpected time, when everyone is asleep, a very different factory comes to life at home? Tired of spending the whole year being only gift-bearers, Santa’s elves gather in a secret “Culture Factory” and set their own chaos in motion: pranks, games, laughter and surprises that turn homes upside down. With this performance, we want to remind children (and their parents) that Christmas is not only about peace and order, but also about the courage to be mischievous, creative and cheerful. Because the true spirit of Christmas is born wherever there is room for laughter, play and a little bit of gentle silliness.

About the performance: Everything in Santa’s workshop is supposed to follow strict rules—gifts counted, lists checked, elves working nonstop. But this year, a few elves decide that too much order is boring. At night, while the people in the homes are asleep, they set out into the world and create their own “culture factory”—a place where the most inventive, funniest and most unexpected pranks are born. They hide on shelves, wrap themselves in toilet paper, swap shoes around, and invite children to join their fun, interactive world. Together with crisis-management virtuoso elf Tadas Jakus (Klaipėda State Musical Theatre) and professional, certified elf movement experts from CODA dance school, young audience members will become pranksters themselves.
