SOLD OUT! CODA Dance School: “Elf Factory” Interactive Dance Performance

Every December, our homes become a stage for waiting for a miracle—but did you know that at the most unexpected moment, while everyone is asleep, a completely different kind of factory comes to life at home? Tired of spending the whole year as nothing but gift carriers, Santa’s elves gather in a secret “Culture Factory” and set off on their own carefully devised chaos—pranks, games, laughter and surprises that turn the house upside down. With this performance, we want to remind children (and their parents) that Christmas is not only about peace and order, but also about having the courage to be mischievous, creative and cheerful. Because the true spirit of Christmas is born wherever there is room for laughter, play and a little gentle silliness.

About the performance: Everything in Santa’s workshop is supposed to follow strict order—gifts are counted, lists are checked, and the elves work without stopping. But this year, a few elves decide that too much order is boring. At night, when the people at home are asleep, they set off into the world and establish their own “Culture Factory”—a place where the most inventive, funniest and most unexpected pranks are born. They hide on shelves, wrap themselves in toilet paper, swap shoes around, and invite children to join their fun, interactive world. Alongside crisis-management virtuoso elf Tadas Jaku (Klaipėda State Musical Theatre) and professional, certified movement experts from CODA Dance School, young audience members will become pranksters themselves.
