STARKUS AND RADZEVIČIUS: AFTER 20 YEARS — TRAVEL HUMOUR STORIES BY THE CAMPFIRE

At the end of 2006, two friends got into an old Mercedes and set off for Africa. Vytaras drove, while Martynas filmed. After they returned to Lithuania, a few episodes of the travel series “Afrika LT” soon appeared on LRT. It might have ended there: the friends returned to their previous jobs, but… Unexpectedly, this travel format, then new to Lithuania, became a huge success. Episodes that seemed destined to remain somewhere in the backwaters of television history became the beginning of an entirely new phenomenon.

Over the past twenty years, Starkus and Radzevičius have become Lithuania’s most prominent symbols of travel TV projects. Their example inspired many travel content creators, now well known in the country, to hit the road and share their experiences with a wide audience. Their unique, comic and often dramatic experiences have made their way not only onto screens but also into books, podcasts and numerous meetings with fans of the duo’s storytelling talent.

Twenty years after that memorable morning before Christmas, Martynas continues to travel and make popular TV travel shows, “Tai Kur Toliau?”, while Vytaras, now rooted in the forests of Dzūkija, shares his experience of life outdoors and tells its stories in the audience-favourite “Vytaro Ferma”.

The special evening “Po 20 metų” is a perfect opportunity for the two to meet once again, reminisce about the funny stories they experienced together and talk about their ongoing adventures today. Expect plenty of laughter, funny situations and improvisation, as well as the chance for audience members to get answers to questions they ask during the evening. A fantastic evening in a great mood is guaranteed! Let’s have fun.

The event will be filmed and photographed.
