“SANTA MONIKA” — MONIKA LIU’S CHRISTMAS
Following last year’s “Santa Monika” concerts, which sold out faster than we could even welcome these performances, this year Monika Liu invites audiences to concerts that are becoming a holiday tradition in both Vilnius and her hometown of Klaipėda.
“Santa Monika” is Monika Liu’s Christmas: a little elegant, a little nostalgic, with jazz, strings, familiar Christmas melodies and, of course, Monika Liu herself—with her songs, stories, humor and the unpredictability that means no two of her concerts are ever the same.
The festive program brings together Monika Liu’s well-known work and special interpretations of songs prepared for Christmas—from tender and classic pieces to songs you’ll want to sing along to. All of this is performed live with musicians, in a festive program created especially for “Santa Monika” evenings.
The Christmas spirit will ring out here through jazz. Strings. “Champagne.” And Monika Liu’s voice.
