MIXED CHOIR “CANTARE” — “MOONLIGHT. LIGHT OF HOPE”
For the third time, we invite you to meet where music becomes more than sound—where it brings people together, comforts and inspires, and reminds us that even in the most difficult times, we are not alone. At a time when, more than ever, we understand how precious peace is and how much simple human togetherness can mean.
This year’s “Moonlight” project is a musical story about hope, closeness and solidarity that transcend national borders, languages and different life experiences. This year, special guests on our musical journey are children from the Ukrainian community, whose voices will blend with the songs of the “Cantare” choir. Different languages, different stories, but one shared wish: to live in a world with more understanding and love.
The concert will feature works by Lithuanian and international composers, inviting us to reflect on what unites us, what helps us preserve our faith in humanity and gives us the strength not to lose hope. The choral music will be accompanied by light decorations created especially for the project by Audrius Laurutis, adding to the festive atmosphere.
