BENAS ŠARKA “GRAZING WITHOUT END”
Benas Šarka’s new performance is a mystical journey through time and space, bringing together archaic ritual, physical endurance and philosophy. The performance reflects the eternal dance of the universe by the god SHIVA, with no beginning or end. On one hand, SHIVA is calm and meditative; on the other, he is a fearsome, destructive—but not annihilating—dancer. This symbolizes how divine consciousness remains calm and blissful even as the material world (wars, disasters, deaths) collapses. As everything around it is destroyed, his dance prepares space for a new spiritual rebirth.
Come with an unguarded heart and prepare for what is inevitable, inexplicable, yet deeply felt.
