21st Folk Festival JAURAM

Folk dancing, joyful music and a warm sense of togetherness await you on 21 November at 13:00 at Kohtla-Järve Kultuurikeskus! For the 21st time, the much-loved folk festival JAURAM brings together friends of folk culture to enjoy our ancestors’ traditions, dance and music. As always, the festival takes place in the cultural centre’s foyer, where the atmosphere is warm and informal and the boundary between performers and audience seems to disappear. Musicians and folk dance groups from Ida-Viru County will perform, bringing the joy of dance, colourful folk costumes and familiar folk tunes. This year’s special guest is the Vormsi folk dance group, bringing us a glimpse of the island’s distinctive culture and traditions. Come with family and friends! Let’s enjoy folk dancing, good music and a heartwarming festive atmosphere together. Folk culture is most beautiful when it is cherished and shared together! Admission is free!
