On 11 November at 19:00, Võru Kannel will host a special concert evening bringing three beloved Estonian artists and three milestone anniversaries together on one stage – Toomas Anni 60 • Boris Lehtlaan 80 • Rein Kurg 70 with Sirje Kurg. It will be an evening of familiar songs, fond memories and music that has accompanied listeners for decades. At the anniversary evening, Toomas Anni celebrates his 60th birthday. This concert has special significance for him: as part of the Grand Anniversary Evening, Toomas will give his final concerts on larger stages. This makes the evening a rare opportunity to hear him perform his beloved songs once more on a major concert stage. Celebrating his 80th anniversary is Boris Lehtlaan, the grand old man of Estonian popular music, whose songs have been part of Estonia’s musical history for decades. Rein Kurg celebrates his 70th birthday and will take the stage with Sirje Kurg – the audience will hear well-known songs as well as duets that have become audience favourites over the years. The musicians will be accompanied on stage by Peeter Kaljuste and Are Jaama. Three anniversaries. Three distinctive musical journeys. One grand and heartfelt concert evening. The concert lasts 1 hour 45 minutes. The café will be open. Tickets: €30; from 19 October, €35; on the day of the event, €40.
